my finals were done 3 days ago and i've been stoning at home in a virtual world. other than that, i went to the slash concert with Ervin, Jay Min and his college friends and it was awesome but could have been more more more awesome if some of the people in the crowd werent there.

The next thing i will know is i will be staring at hot stewardesses on the long ass flight back to the states. yeah im leaving in 2 weeks and not really looking forward to it.

but before that, i need to go crowbar out my wisdom tooth that cant erect properly. anybody know any good dentists to recommend since i have a dental phobia, especially the dentist's drill? General anaesthesia would be accepted with an open mouth.

so it looks like i have to abstain from playing futsal for a while, and take a hiatus from martial arts till my wisdom tooth cavity heals. i read that physical activity can cause the post surgical cavity to ejaculate more blood.. so i guess its time to be a good boy and sign up for a volunteer service.

OK thats all for now. maybe when im all drugged up and taking in liquidified solids on my bed, wilting in pain i will post something.

Godammit, I'm not even 1 and a half weeks through sem 2 and I'm already falling behind. :(

im already starting to miss home, sadly. lol. i only have 13 weeks of classes this sem, so i finish classes on the 28th of october. but my exams can range anytime til 19th november. and then there's the painful boring task of staying behind til the 28th of november for my cousin's wedding. rawr

OMG, my parents are actually thinking of sending me to China end of this year for a Mandarin crashcourse for bout a month. @@ shoot me. But they haven't found any good courses that fit perfectly into my holidays yet. phew. lol. but but if I do get forced to go for this mandarin thingy.......will anyone of you be interested to join? Have you guys seen this video? Aih, pity the tiger. If it somehow regains consciousness and sticks its teeth and claws in the asscheeks of the trainer, I think the tiger will most probably be put to sleep when it is the trainer's and resort management's faults in the first place.

Yay, i FINALLY sat for my driving exam!

haha..and it really reminded me what a small world it is..upon reaching the driving centre, i met Alex Ng (as in our junior), and WEI LUN! They were sitting for the exam too and I'm pleased to announce that all passed! Whee!

Oh, then on my way back (as in my instructor drove me back), the car broke down near kong hoe school, bukit kuda (yes, just my brilliant luck).

So I stood on the sidewalk in the sweltering heat waiting for my dad to come rescue me and then i heard a honk, turned and saw ANDY LOK..at least i think i did..haha, couldnt be sure, he drove away too fast, the jam was horrendous..

Ahh damn..holiday ends in 2 days..then its back to serious mugging.. :(

Wooh! My exams end on the 17th of June, earlier than you guys but unfortunately i'm only coming home on the 1st of July =( So i won't have a choice BUT to partake in 'alcohol/clubbing filled post-exam celebrations' =p And i'll be flying back Perth on the 22nd of July, i'll have 3 weeks of home to enjoy!

OH, on a random note, i touched a dead body today. Old lady cadaver. The 2nd years dissected her head and thorax, so we got to touch/play with whatever parts they've cut up. Which is basically the brain (cut into 3 pieces), both the lungs and the heart (they cut holes in the atria and ventricles so we could look inside). Oh there were also the skull, eyeball, ribs, and looking at body layers in general. SO FREAKING AWESOME. :)

Don't worry, it was preserved with formaldehyde. So it didn't look that real anyway. And the smell of the formaldehyde made me hungry. lol. I'm not sickly disturbing, ok......it's a chemical effect. You can either feel real sick, hungry or don't feel anything at all after smelling formaldehyde. And I got hungry. Haha

Over the next few weeks we're gonna take a look at other organs and stuff, depending how fast the 2nd years cut up the cadavers. And next semester, we get to cut one ourselves. :)

Ok, I gtg now. Making a last ditch trip to the library to print notes and a report. gah

It's official.

I'm coming home on the 24th of June! My exam's in the morning of the 23rd, and then I'm flying off at 1am that night (which is technically already the 24th). So I'll reach around 6-7am on the 24th. Woohoo!

Well, I guess I can't take part in alcohol/clubbing filled post-exam celebrations. But who cares, I rather get home asap anyway. :)

I'm coming back to Melbourne on the 17th of July, so officially I have about 3 weeks to enjoy home. Aaaaaahhhhh I can't wait! Meeting up and hanging with all of you guys, futsal, dota, pool, daytona, all the other crazy shit we do and FOOD.

Damn Kyle, I envy you. Haha

Anyhoos, here's like a couple of updates.

Monash so far's been good =D

Orientation med camp at Phillip Island was AWESOME. I met like at least 100+ people and there were like loads of activities and random stuff. Like a bingo night (sounds lame, but there was like break dancing, rapping and music video quizzes and shit), random futsal matches with the african kids in my course, the ninja game and other shizz.

All the people in my course have like lectures together, so we're like meeting new people everytime. But in general, white guys keep to white guys, white girls to white girls and asians with asians. lol asians as in chinese people with chinese people, and indian people with indian people. but we do mix here and there once in a while. haha

AND surprisingly, most of the people in my course aren't nerdy. right, you do get a weirdo here and there, but almost everyone's like fun. And everyone's like interesting one way or another; like there's this white kid who can speak mandarin, a lot of white kids who can speak french or spanish, and stuff like that.

OH and everyone here makes fun of people from Tasmania and New Zealand. Because everyone regards them as Tarzans. lol

Lecturer: "Imagine you wake up with 2 heads. Give me a logical explanation for this situation."
Student: "I'm Tasmanian."
Lecturer: "hahahaha Good answer. (thumbs up) Strange enough, I hear that every year. =D"

LOL btw, my Tasmanian friend shot a kangaroo for dinner before. So it isn't hard to imagine why they get loads of shit. haha

Lecturers here are mostly good. I hate my sociology lecturer though. She's more boring than a dead fish. There was one lecture she had on masturbation and homosexuality, and everyone was still nodding off into sleep. garh. oh, btw, did u know, apparently kids as old as 15 months begin to masturbate. It's called the "natural exploration of the body". LOL

Our course isn't hard, but there's a lot of work and readings to do. Other than that, all's good. =D

P.S: I just got a $5000 scholarship from Trinity College. =)))) My HOI lecturer (whose lecture I skipped from April last year) emailed me about it and now I havta meet up with her to collect my money. My class has 130 people. 30 from foundation Jan intake (that's me). 30 from March. And 70 outsiders, probably from pre-u. So I managed to see some new people here and there during today's orientation. Heck of a competition starts this year. So many Seans. @@

HELLO

it's been almost exactly a week since I left Malaysia. Time flies damn bloody fast man.

It's been like a way tiring week.

I....enrolled with Monash, settled my accommodation in Rusden House, paid my fees, bumped into a friend who's staying at Cobain St which is nearer to Monash than Rusden House, checked out Cobain St, inspected and officially paid rent for an empty studio at Cobain St, cancelled my apartment in Rusden House, met a couple of other awesome Med people, saw LOADS of square, spectacle, nerd Med people, met a pretty large group of Malay government scholars who are doing Med as well, baddy-ied with the gang =D, and brought my parents around Clayton and the city.

Right now, I'm going through orientation in Monash. And I tell you la, O Week in Monash is the messiest piece of crappy organisation ever. The only up-side to O Week is that Med students are required to attend a 3 day 2 night trip to Phillip Island Adventure Resort this Friday. And we havta bring sleeping bags, pillows and all. Sounds like fun. And apparently there's gonna be a lot of alcohol and partying. =D yay for alcohol-induced partying in a remote jungle on an island with sleeping bags!

So now I gotta go for more orientation crap tomorrow and Thursday, then Phillip Island on Friday til Sunday, come back Sunday night, start classes on Monday morning and move in to my place at Cobain St asap from next Monday onwards.

College starts on 23 Feb for me. Same goes to CA.
I got a job, and after a week of working, I got indirectly fired/quit. You can say either way, I wouldn't mind. I guess like 95% of you guys reading this blog knew what happened.

But for kyle, I'll post it up here. My boss plans on training me to work full time on weekends. So I let him know that when my college starts, I wouldn't be able to work. So he said it was wasting his time training me up and so was mine (pay's kinda low), so might as well stop working. And yea, that's how it happened.

And stupid things you missed out? I guess you can say CA's and Sheng's random hilarious stalker conversations but I think you left too early to have heard it.

And congrats to Mel again for being accepted to IMU. I have no idea when I'll see you again. When you break out, let me know. Thanks.

Hi Kyle. Yes I'm fine. Haha. Well, I guess I won't be returning to Sydney anymore. Well, just to collect my stuff from Sydney anyway..haha..I got acccepted into IMU for Feb which means that I'll be seeing Lee Teng Huei, future paediatrician (hope I spelt that right), around campus and probably in some of my classes as well. So yes, whoopee, I am finally going somewhere with that dream of cutting and slicing people open of mine. :)

I sense a lot of rushing in the meantime before uni starts though (Huh. Uni. We are growing up aren't we? With the exception of Phil who will still be in high school though. Haha).
I'll probably fly off to Sydney on the 31st of jan to bring back my stuff and I'll probably be back on the 4th of feb. Then I'll be in Ipoh on the 12th and 13th. Flying off to Korea on te 14th and returning on the 21st. And uni starts on the 22nd of Feb.

I need to start writing more since I'm taking English this semester and got 3 major projects. Damn. I hate writing.

I have no idea on what to write about. Hmm, I don't mean to steal your thunder here Sam but I think I'll write a tribute to your journey on the Quickie search, not that I am that well equipped to write it and since you nagged about a lack of updates. I only saw you on the quickie once. If you don't like it or don't want it up anymore, tell me. I'll remove it and let you touch me for a while.

Here's to Sam, whom as far as I know, is the first among us to have her face and name seen in the magical colored moving images but soul stealing boxes sitting in out living rooms and some bedrooms and even toilets. Although you did not emerge victorious, don't be too sad. You can always name your child Victoria. Frankly, I turned off the TV to go take a shit and then a long shower after I saw a female that wasn't you sandwiched between the 2 guys on the couch. And I only saw you once on the Quickie and that wasn't even live. But cut me some slack, I was in the US at that time.

I don't know if you will agree with me on this paragraph but you don't have to. You are not going to pull an ISA on me right? Firstly, as I think you know, it is a tedious job. The travelling to 1U, the make up, the late timeslot, and some other things which I can't think of. And you as a student have your studies as your priorities. More so when you are taking your A Levels which I think has one of the heaviest workloads. So you already being so busy, why make yourself busier? You're not a bee. And you're not yet even 20. And also, to illustrate my point, when I was back, I only SAW you 3 times. Emphasis on saw because I just look at you, you look at me, you try to touch me and succeed, then I give my usual response, communicate a very little tiny winy bit and then siaran tergendala. Blame me if you want for the lack of communication but I am a shy boy. Besides, one time you had to leave early because you had to prepare for your big day the next day and another time you were on a 'date' so I didn't want to ruin your moments. I'm not sure if it was a pseudo-date or a real date and I also don't know who initiated it but I'm not gonna extend my nose and inadvertently or indirectly ruin your chances with him.

Moreover, you are still young. Older than me by slightly more than a year though, but still young. People say that 20 is the new 10 right? So, you're 9. I'm pretty sure that this exposure has unlocked and will open more doors to opportunities for you in the future if it hasn't already. It will then be up to you to step into those doors or watch as you stand there and do nothing while they close right before your eyes. Well, you made it into the Top 6 out of I don't know how many people who auditioned. Somewhere between 30,000 or 3,000? I'll guess 3,333. And even if I take the smaller number, you are already in the top 0.2 percentile. And I think you gained lots of insight and experience about a prospective future career. You had many supportive fans too, who are like you, not afraid to fight. And lastly, I forgot to ask for your autograph.

Well yea, from the title you can probably guess I've been stressing out lately. Why?

Cos I freaking made a rash decision and applied to Columbia Uni for Early Action on Sunday. And the deadline's like coming Monday.

So yea, I slept for only about 4-5 hours on Sunday and Monday night. Had to write up everything, register, fill forms, scan and mail forms for my parents to get acmar to send and stuff. but thank god that's over with. I just finished everything. hallelujah babeh =)

But my exams start in 3 weeks (drama exam's in 2) so i'm gonna havta start hitting the books. soon. -.-

Night time is usually my 'thinking time'.
It's the time of the day when I think of all the possible outcomes life has to offer and decisions and choices I've made over time and a whole lot of other random stuffs.

Soooo, I haven't posted on this blog in a while since I'm kind pre-occupied with mine. (:
And I feel like I just gotta post something on this blog to add in some meat into this blog.

So how much have we changed over the last 10 months?
We've all gone into a whole new degree of education, and mixed with a whole different bunch of awesome people. And the surroundings always always moulds a person to be who he/she is to be.

I defnitely felt myself maturing the most in this shortest period of time throughout my whole 18 years of life. And I hoped I haven't changed one bit from the dude you guys knew in high school.

An emo post? Hahaha. Dudes, check out my hair! :P

I know, i semi-abandoned this place but hey, I'm back ain't I? haha.
I think it might be the fact that holidays are coming around that everybody is back here 'hyping' the place up. It's going to be awesome being able to see everyone again after all this time and hopefully we all can still Laugh as loud as we used to be able to. (which i honestly think should be NO problem at all, considering our voices.. okay, maybe considering just mine. :P)
I really cannot wait till everyone gets back and judging from the dates that everyone is available, I'm guessing we should meet (and i meet a huge meet, not like 2-3 people b'cause that can happen any otehr day) sometime during the First week of January.
So Shuyen, get your date book out and start planning. LOL!

Hi guys! How've you all been?

I dunno if anybody reads this blog anymore but I got nothing to do now, so I'll just post something random. Forgive me, I think I'm becoming random-er by the day. haha

Firstly, there's this really Ah Beng song that's stuck in my head that I gotta post. Lol. It's so Ah Beng that I think it'll be blasting in those Proton-modified Skyline GTRs owned by Hokkien speaking dudes with gold chains around their necks in give or take 6 months from now. But the song just gets stuck in your head like that image of Chay Ann plucking his kalatai.

Moving on from that....SAM! I think my friend's going after your friend. lol random. Haha I've got a classmate here called Lincoln. And I think he's going after the other Samantha in your class. Either that or they're already together. Hahaha. So random. Lincoln like came up to me before our Math 2 exam and went:

L: "Oh, she's the classmate of a girl I met in Subang during the midyear break."

Family Day pt 2

Acmar's Family Day 2009 SUCKED BIG TIME compared to those held the years before. I probably laughed more watching this video than I laughed there.
I guess its all thanks to somebody's stupid idea of separating the Family Day into the Secondary side and the Primary side. Cover such a wide area and so little people turned up. I was too lazy to walk to the Primary side. The games seemed boring(none involving water) and the food choices was so little. I ended up eating a hotdog with a beef-looking but chicken-tasting sausage in it and also fatly cut wedges which weren't crunchy. Worse, I found out that the basin that contained the can drink I drank had 2 DEAD COCKROACHES in it, dunno whether they drowned hypothermiacally in the icy water or their dead bodies were submerged in water. No wonder my drink's can had the cockroachy smell. Damn. If someone wants to have the Family Day and it was a last minute decision and then also boss everybody around, he should make sure that the bloody blood colored drink-containing-basin is COCKROACH FREE. He's lucky I haven't gone to the toilet to do my multi-million dollar business.

And also, who in a sane state of mind will want to have a Family Day when Centro which is so near is having warehouse clearance sale featuring RSH, ToysRUs, Times Bookstore and G2000 among others. In this time of unfavourable economy, I would rather get good deals at the warehouse clearance than to get ripped off by 500ml mineral water at RM 2 and to throw or kick a ball for RM 1 and they come in minimum orders of 3 balls. I went to the warehouse clearance after Family Day and spent 5 times the amount I spent at Family Day and it was more than 5 times more worth it. I didn't know digging for clothes right to the core of a clothe mountain made up of mens t-shirts, sweaters, pants and the occasional wierd looking top only when upon closer inspection realize it was for women was so fun, especially when you get a nice shirt at a nice price.

In a seashell, I regret going for the Family Day because I could have done something so much better than to kiss the mouth of an essence-of-cockroach-infested-can. Dammit.

Family Day

Waa..its been a month since the last update..anyway acmar's family day is this Saturday, 27th June so all of you who are around and free of A(H1N1) please attend it ok..its from 9 a.m till everybody starts leaving. And also, I'll be leaving in August so its probably one of my last few chances to see u all.

My iguana died even before me and my brother gave it a name. It survived for a few months though. But it died in the cold, rainy weather. I forgot what I did to it after that, probably threw it away. The after pic is just a lizard 'pancaked' by a door.
